Highly abstract and gestural in its visual language, Grumpy Rooster is a comedic and whimsical sculpture in which painted pieces of reclaimed, scrap wood are used to describe the exploding, deconstructed form of the farmyard bird. Grumpy Rooster can be viewed at the artists’ studio in Burien WA.
